American Legion Baseball Bans Composite BESR Baseball Bats

American Legion Baseball press release clarifies BBCOR bats and BESR bats as they move forward in to late 2011 and beyond.

100% aluminum BESR are still legal for now, but not in 2012.

Any composite BESR bats are no longer allowed for play in American Legion Baseball.

All BBCOR bats, regardless of material, will be legal in American Legion Baseball for the 2011 season.
