DeMarini CF5 Baseball Bat Pictures Are Here

DeMarini CF5 BBCOR Baseball Bat pictures and details have been released.

CheapBats.com broke the news of the new 2012 DeMarini Baseball Bats this morning.

The all new CF5 uses a new composite called “Tru Strut Tr3” that Demarini claims is stronger and lighter than the composite material used on the CF4 last year.  You can see from the pictures below the 2012 DeMarini CF5 End Cap is all new as well, providing a stiffer barrel to make use of the barrel flex provided by the Doublewall and minimize vibration in your hands when contact is made with the ball. The grip is a new color but looks to differ only cosmetically from the current DeMarini Faded Grip. The new 2012 CF5 BBCOR has a double wall barrel that is supposed to add trampoline and “push” the ball off the bat. The 2012 DeMarini CF5 release date will be approximately June, 2011 and is priced at $399.95 (with Free 2nd Day Air from CheapBats.com)

We were very impressed with the 2011 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR so we are extremely anxious to hit the new 2012 CF5 and see if Demarini was able to bring BBCOR bats to the next level.

  1. I dont know if they have a cf5 made for little league. Im almost positive this is going to be a good bat. Im going to get it because im just going into babe ruth.

  2. Yes this Demarini CF5 18oz / 29″ is legal for little league baseball, you can check the bats that pass inspection on-line at http://www.littleleague.org …. Just picked up one for my son and hes playing in the All Stars so we will see how well it performs. I took it to the cages to beak it in and it sounds and pops very nicely, almost sounds like a wooden bat.

  3. The very 1st thing you will notice when you step up to swing is the FLEX ! As soon as you start your swing you will feel it. Demarini wasn’t kidding about this. The recoil is ridiculously powerful and so is this bat. It may take a little getting used to if you have never used a “2 piece” composite before this one.
You also need a good swing to see the “recoil” in this bat work. In other words, if you’re the type of hitter that hits the ball when it has reached the middle of your chest, you will not get the full effect of the recoil. You have to hit the ball with your hands and wrists extended in front of you. Kind of hard to explain. If you have a very good to excellent baseball swing then you will enjoy bomb after bomb with this bat. That is after it is fully broken in. I suggest doing at least 100 soft tosses with it and not with tee-balls either. Use regulation hard baseballs with soft toss practice and remember to rotate the bat before each swing. That will break it in faster for you before that big game.
    Hope this helps!
